The Hayling Island PWC Club (HIPWC) was formed in 2007 with the support of the Langstone Harbour Board, which is pleased to be able to work with the club to promote safe and sensible use of PW in the harbour and to assist in resolving local conflicts. The Harbour Board encouraged and supported the establishment of a recognised PW Club for Langstone Harbour and was closely involved in the development of partnership arrangements with HIPWC, which will assist the Board to improve safety in the harbour while offering significant benefits to HIPWC members. The Hayling Island PWC Club aims to: - Promote and protect the sport by encouraging responsible behaviour and adherence to local bylaws.
- Provide a club that allows its members to enjoy their sport with other like minded people on and off the water.
- Provide a focal point for the local community to enable wider awareness of the sport.
