Langstone Harbour Environment Management Plan

The Langstone Harbour Environment Management Plan, was published by the Board in June 2026.  Produced with the help of ABPmer, and following engagement with a wide range of our harbour stakeholders, it is designed to give the Board direction, recommendations for future management, and an action plan for implementation, in order to support their statutory duties and carry out partnership activity to benefit nature in and around the harbour. 

 

The Plan requires regular review to bring it in line with updated legislation and conservation priorities and this will take place every few years.

Prior to its publication and adoption by the Board, a scoping report was published by ABPmer, which reviewed the statutory duties of the Board and proposed an updated set of environmental aims and objectives.
